Join a Dermatology Team as a Clinical Trials Pharmacist / Coordinator!

$100,000 - $120,000 per annum + superannuation depending on experience

A leading specialist dermatology clinical research organisation in Woolloongabba is looking for a highly motivated and focused pharmacist to join their expert team.

This is a unique, patient-facing role within a multidisciplinary team. Whether you are a new pharmacy graduate looking to kickstart your career or an experienced pharmacist seeking a change from standard community pharmacy, this position offers a rare opportunity to step into the world of cutting-edge medicine. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete patient visits under supervision, including performing ECGs and collecting/processing lab specimens.
  • Dispense and prepare clinical trial medications while managing the drug supply and clinic inventory.
  • Manage scheduling for clinics and trial visit windows to ensure strict compliance.
  • Communicate with Sponsors, on-site monitors, patients, referring doctors, and third-party vendors.
  • Assist in the care of patients on complex drug programs (e.g., biologics), including liaising with the PBS and pharmaceutical representatives.
  • Proactively identify and recruit potential participants for clinical trial programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent experience.
  • Current unconditional registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience with dispensary and inventory control systems, plus excellent computer and data entry skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and professional stakeholders.
  • A strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to learn new knowledge relating to clinical research studies.
